I need to learn web design

I loved homestead.com. It was easy to create a website. Now I am clueless. WordPress was helping me move this blog to my own domain by BlueHost, but communication abruptly stopped. Did he go on vacation? Get fired? Drop dead? Just forget about me? Sigh….

Today I have been trying to figure out how to move the old Peace and Carrots stuff to the new domain. I’m also wanting to know how to make a main page, then sub domains. I watched the instructional video and am even more confused. My idea is to have a main page that then points to stuff from our old farm, perhaps Heather’s travels, van living and camping pages, recipes, the blog, etc…..

Heather??? Luke???? Want to help an old lady? I miss Heather! She taught me how to do Homestead, then I learned on my own. My problem now is not having a clue how to start.

Anybody have recommendations of sites to peruse or books to read that will help me along? I have free use of Page Wizard Site Builder as part of BlueHost. Help!!!!!!!
